This leading Hotel-Casino group is seeking a G/L Accountant ASAP. The right individual will handle a project to restate PR expenses consistent with ASC-606 under current GAAP. Your qualifications should include the following:
- General Ledger Accountant with demonstrated skills in reconciliation and schedule preparation (Required)
- Solid understanding of Accounting in a large corporate environment (Required)
- BS/BA in Accounting or demonstrated equivalent experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of ASC-606 Revenue Recognition guidelines strongly preferred
- Outstanding Excel and math skills
- Ability to communicate with a team and prioritize tasks
- Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
Helpful experience and skills to share with us:
- Ability to effectively book month-by-month reclass of prior years as directed
- Experience with restatement of prior earnings
